Philip Bewley Philip Bewley is an art consultant and interior designer, guest lecturer on subjects related to period antiques and the decorative arts. Areas of special expertise include continental period antiques with special study of the Russian Jacob, Gustaviansk, early furniture, Spanish and Portuguese furniture, classical antiquities, the decorative arts of Asia, European fine and applied arts, 20th century design and the history of fine art photography. Formally the gallery Director of Therien & Company, San Francisco, Philip has traveled extensively on buying trips for the selection of antiques and fine art targeted to the following markets: Milan, Rome, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, Barcelona, Nice, Hong Kong, Lisbon, with international auction houses, dealers and antique fairs. Philip Bewley has organized cultural events for clients, such as viewings of exhibitions at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Philip Bewley lives in San Francisco, and is currently working on a book incorporating his own original photography, featuring the landscapes of the Marin Headlands.
