Music is a universal tool for expression and connection. It can be uplifting or make us cry. It can engage our heart with hope or dispair. Todays youth have access to music from around the globe. All varieties of music are only a click away, including music that promotes violence, drug use and gang membership. So what is the impact of rap and other music on you? Should music be better regulated? On our show we will ex plore these and other critical questions with teens, including: What kind of music do you listen to and why? What is the impact of music on your soul, and on your lilfe? This show will be co-hosted by teenager, Sydney, from San Diego. Bikbaye, a recording artist, and Sydney will explore this topic of music. We will talk to a young musician from Jackson, Mississippi, and a musician/police officer from Chicago, Illinois. Call in with your comments and questions on this topic.
